Restaurant Review : ADOBO CONNECTION by Micah Joy Barrota

There are 7,107 islands in the Philippines, Bicolano's have Bicol Express, Ilocano are known for Pinakbet ang Bolalo for Batangas,It is because adobo is a cuisine so well loved and well-known-each region, each village, each family,-has their own secret adobo recipe.

Adobo was named as the unofficial dish of the Philippines . The word "Adobo" is originally used to refer to the cooking process marinating and stewing with vinegar, and not the dish itself. Adobo Connection at SM ANNEX EDSA COR NORTH AVENUE was established on November 2010.

We Filipinos dishes really love the taste of adobo , the unofficially dish of the Philippines. It's the reason why a restaurant named “Adobo Connection" was established. They are promoting the World Class Filipino dishes specially the well-known Adobo. Even though they are serving delicious foods, they didn't make the consumers pay high prices. You can also feel the Filipino-vive because of their furniture and paintings. You see images of our Filipino pride. It's a good place to relax and be proud of the things about being a Filipino .

Adobo Connection have a good presentation of foods. I really like the taste of the Flakes of Nachos and some of the foods . The Ambiance is great , it's a very relaxing place. The Adobo Connections interiors, especially their choice of displays on the walls , scream Pinoy pride . The photos above are some icon and symbols of the Filipino Culture; Such as our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal , the Senator , Ninoy  Aquino, also the picture of the actor FPJ.

If you’re a Pinoy, you'd find the display front of the counter easy to relate too. All the crew have a nice greeting to the costumer. And also have a good interaction. The prices are very affordable for friends, couples, and family budget. The fried chicken is not good in taste because the chicken skin is very hard to eat and also the chicken's meat is not totally cooked. It was all too salty, meal is not tender.

The serving time is very long I don't like waiting for 20 minutes for my foods. Soup is the first to serve to me before the meal. The meal is already cold to service. That's why it becomes cold before the main course was served. The utensils/glass were not clean because I smelled the liquid detergent.

For me the rate that I gave for the"Adobo Connection" restuarant is 2.5 because I'm not fully satisfied dor their service . I can say that Adobo Connection Filipino-style dishes and be surrounded by the Filipino-vive . But don't worry about it's cost because it's only cheap.
