Christopher Lacorum's Film Review: LIMITLESS by Neil Burger

Eddie Mora was an alcoholic kind of man. He likes to watch tv all the time and his house was a big messed one time he saw Vern in the highway they talked and Vern was holding a pack of ecstasy that time. It is a kind of drug that can make people intelligent. Vern helped eddie to have more knowledge and to be successful. He gave Eddie a one tablet of ecstasy and there, Eddie knew what’s the effect of drugs to himself, his knowledge to everything had been more advance and he learn so much more that he never expected to happen.

The next day he went to Vern’s house. He was surprised that he saw Vern dead and lying on the floor and the house was a big messed. That time he saw a message. After that, he began to search things to find the ecstasy that Vern gave him last time. He found it and by then everything of him change, he did a lot of things and he became popular.

Time passes by, the ecstasy was getting nearly through. The side effect of the drugs was making his body weak and his brain. He ran to Melissa to lend him the ecstasy but suddenly, there was a guy came and he’s interested to drugs and he planned to kill Eddie, the guy got some drugs to him and some money but they got a deal, because of that the guy agreed and everything got fine that time. But on the other day, Eddie and the guy meet in Eddie’s house to get the ecstasy to him but because of Eddie’s intelligence he killed the guy who wanted to get his drugs.

Eddie continued what he did first and his life became more successful. He became a writer and he changes his name to EDWARD MORA.

Their acting was good. All the cries, stabbing of knife, punches and shooting using guns and other firearms, and even the expressions of their faces was so good. The camera shots were very well defined. All the angles and places of the shots was very clear.

The opening music was pleasing to the ears of the viewers and to suites to all the scenes in the movie especially the sound effect until the end. It looks that his mind was advance and it was like fast-forwarding all things he does.
