Film Review : Limitless by Neil Burger ( Reviewed by Jessa Butiu )

Last week, I watched the movie limitless directed by Neil Burger. A drama, fantasy, thriller, and science fiction film involving drugs and violence.

This movie is mainly about a man who's facing many problem in his life, from his work to his relationship with his girlfriend but it all changes when his ex brother in law introduces him to a new pill called NZT,  which literally changes his life.

What's fresh about the concept of this movie is how the mind turns into a perfect intelligence,  also how you become a Superman whenever you take one of that magic pill. Although some of the scenes are cliche, the thrill of the movie is still in there. You will enjoy every scene of this film because there is always a question in your mind on how will the main character overcome the bad effects of that pill.

The visual effects and cinematography are also amazing. Also, add the fact that the sounds were really relevant to the scenes. Specially the times when the characters are taking the pill. It is another great aspect that affect the movie. It was really cool to feel that you were actually there.

Generally,  in my opinion this movie is really something. The way the drug enhance the mind to do extraordinary things that people are willing to risk their lives and to kill just to have it was really absurb.
